1. What is a paragraph? What makes up a good paragraph?
2. Find and underline the main idea of each paragraph: What is the paragraph about?
3. Read the other sentences in that paragraph: Do they all have to do with the main idea of the paragraph?
4. Mark sentences that are about something else: these belong in another paragraph or perhaps in their own paragraph with more development.
